Perfect location within the heart of the pedestrian zone of Siena while being close to well-priced parking lot/garage (i.e., we drove, parked at a lot, and easily walked to the hotel with our luggage, then back upon our departure). The staff was super friendly and helpful, both at check-in, the bar, and the restaurant. Outstanding food (we had dinner and breakfast). Room was well catered and quiet. Highly recommended.

Our three night stay in the hotel was trully fantastic. The hotel is first class as well its staff. Its location is superb. The hotel is really well mantained. We liked its interior; beds and pillows were confortable; we got a room with splended view over Sienna;. We wholeheartedly recommend dinner in the hotel’s restoran. Better than in tratorias and restorants in the city. Three thumbs up for the consierge and the reception staff. i thank them for all the arrangements they did for us, for explanations, for kindness! . True professonals.

The breakfast was amazing. I have never seen a buffet with so many wonderful choices. The breakfast room was beautiful and the collection of Spanish horse pictures was really special. There were fresh flowers on each table. Also, we took advantage of wine tasting in their cellar. We had 5 wines paired with small bites of food. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this extra feature. The bar and seating area had beautiful colored glass tables - very classy. The staff was very professional. I was sorry to leave this hotel.

It’s a beautiful hotel in the city center with fantastic rooms and very helpful personnel. Our daughter got into ski accident and has to use crutches. Staff kindly offer to book a wheelchair and we were sorted for the stay. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning. The choice was good. The room was well designed with comfortable bed, nice bathroom with bathtub and shower. The public car park is in 5 min walk from the hotel which is very convenient.

Every request and need was attended to immediately. The 500 year old building located within the ancient walled city was a magnificent palace full of art and antiques that somehow was mixed with very contemporary amenities such as the glass elevator in the center. with only 51 rooms the ratio of staff to guests is probably 1:2. large bathroom, walk-in closet, outdoor balcony, comfortable bed all much less than our small room at the Rome Marriott

Right in the middle of Siena, a two minute walk to the main square. A beautiful building, our room had stunning views over the rooftops and into the valley beyond the city walls. The breakfast was top notch and we did the wine tasting in the hotel's cellar which was a great experience.

Beautiful hotel with a killer gourmet restaurant-sophisticated and heavenly Tuscan food. Breakfast buffet stellar. Easy walk to all the must-see Sienna experiences. Exceptionally high end furniture amd finishes in room.

While “grand” in many respects, it’s also intimate and scaled nicely. it doesn’t feel tired the way some of the older hotels can feel.
